BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Alabama State University's Ann Badawi was honored as the Southwestern Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024.

Badawi finished sixth with a 19:35 to lead three Alabama State runners in the top 10 at The Opener hosted by Mississippi College last weekend. 

Alabama State women's cross country team finished third on the strength of the top 10 finishes on the day.
