CLINTON, Miss. | The Alabama State women's cross country team place third on the strength of three top 10 finishes at The Opener hosted by Mississippi College.
 
Mississippi College topped the team standings followed by Louisiana-Monroe and Alabama State. William Carey was third followed by Southern Arkansas, Millsaps, Delta State, Belhaven, MUW and Xavier-Louisiana.
