HATTIESBURG, Miss. | Alabama State University women's golf closed out its fall season at The Judson hosted by Southern Miss at Hattiesburg Country Club, finishing 10th overall in the 11-team field.
The Hornets posted team rounds of 308, 307, and 322 for a 54-hole total of 937 on the par-72, 6,183-yard layout. Southern Miss and Tulane shared the team title at 851 (-13), while Central Arkansas placed third at 868 (+4).
Senior Kierra Williams once again led the Hornets, finishing tied for 24th overall at 226 (+10). Williams opened with rounds of 74 (+2) and 73 (+1) before closing with a 79 (+7). Teammate Carmen Fletcher followed closely behind, placing 31st with a total score of 228 (+12) after rounds of 75, 73, and 80.
Thayika Kittiyanaruewat carded a three-day total of 231 (+15) to finish tied for 40th with steady rounds of 76, 76, and 79. Lindsey Christiana Marcellus shot 257 (+41), highlighted by an improved final-round 84. Yaiza Fernandez competed in her first collegiate event, posting an opening-round 83 before withdrawing in the final rounds.
Individually, Iman Shah finished tied for 59th at 253 (+37), recording rounds of 83-83-87 while competing as an individual.
