BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Leah Richardson was named the SWAC Softball Hitter of the Week on Wednesday.

Richardson hit .438 with two home runs, six RBI and two runs scored during last weekend's Mercer Invitational. She slugged .813, had a 471 on-base percentage and fielded 1.000 (32 chances).

Richardson went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI to help the Lady Hornets come from behind for a 10-8 win over UConn.
