Alabama State Women's Golf Wins Second Straight SWAC Title

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Alabama State University women's golf claimed the 2025 SWAC Women's Golf Championship to claim back-to-back titles on Wednesday.

Led by Lucia Ibanez Parada the Lady Hornets shot a final round 320 (+32) to finish twenty strokes ahead of second place Southern.
 
Bethune-Cookman and Prairie View A&M finished the event in third and fourth place respectively.
 
Individually Southern's Salma Ibrahim claimed Low Medalist and Freshman Low Medalist honors. 
 
Southern head coach Bobby Pope and Alabama State head coach Quincy Heard were named Co-Coach of the Year.
