MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. I All-Region and All-American Teams have been announced in all eight regions. The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. I All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.

Alabama State University's first baseman
Juan Cruz was named to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-Southeast Region second team and Alll-american third team on Tuesday.
Â
Cruz adds the accolade to his list of 2025 honors which includes Southwestern Athletic Conference's (SWAC) Co-Hitter of the Year and First-Team All-SWAC.

Cruz played in 60 games with 60 starts, hitting .420 with 23 doubles, two triples, 14 home runs, and 73 RBI (3rd SWAC). He slugged .690 with a .480 on base percentage.

The Apopka, Fla., native led the NCAA with 106 hits while ranking 2nd in the NCAA in hits per game (1.77) and 5th in total bases (174). He is 8th in the country in batting average (.420), and 21st in RBI (73).

Cruz led the SWAC in doubles, doubles per game, hits, and hits per game while ranking second in batting average, 3rd in runs scored (62), third in RBI, and home runs, and fifth slugging percentage.

The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. I All-America teams will be announced the morning of Friday, June 13 prior to the start of the 2025 NCAA Div. I College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. First Team All-Region selections are eligible for All-America honors.

The finalists for the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. I Gold Glove team will be announced via Twitter by Rawlings Sporting Goods (
@RawlingsSports) on Monday, June 16. The Gold Glove winners in all divisions will be announced on Wednesday, June 18.

In all divisions, the ABCA/Rawlings National Pitchers and Position Players of the Year will be announced on Monday, June 23.

The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now includes nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first recognized in 2007.
