MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Khalil Stewart of the NBA HBCU Fellowship Class of 2023 continues to build on his impressive resume as he prepares to intern at the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, taking place July 15–20 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Stewart will serve as a Production Management Intern, supporting the league's premier summer event. He previously worked the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, gaining valuable hands-on experience in event operations and production.
Currently, Stewart serves as the Director of Creative Content for Alabama State University Athletics, where he leads storytelling and digital media efforts across multiple platforms.
"It's an honor to continue working with both the NBA and WNBA through this fellowship," Stewart said. "Being involved in two All-Star events is a major step toward my career goals, and I'm proud to represent Alabama State University on a national stage."
The NBA HBCU Fellowship Program provides professional development opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Fellows are placed with NBA and WNBA teams and the league office, working in departments such as communications, operations, marketing, and production.
Launched in 2022, the program aims to bridge the gap between HBCU students and careers in sports business—equipping future professionals with the tools and connections they need to succeed.
