MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Alabama State University tennis coach Anuk Christiansz has announced the fall schedule for the 2025-26 men's and women's tennis campaigns.
Coming off a fourth straight SWAC Championship and NCAA Tournament berths, the ASU men tallied a 15-11 overall record and finished undefeated in SWAC action at 6-0 in the 2025 season.
The Hornets will start off the fall slated by competing in the HBCU Nationals, which will take place Sept. 18-21 at the South Fulton Tennis Center in Atlanta, Ga. ASU will continue September action at the Samford Hidden Dual which will be played Sept. 26-28 at the Pat M. Covington Tennis Pavilion in Birmingham, Ala.
The Hornets will open the month of October by appearing in two events scheduled for Oct. 3-5. ASU will have several players at the Mercer Grid Iron at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center in Macon, Ga., while other members of the team will play in the SWAC Masters in Huntsville, Ala., at the AAMU Tennis Courts.
The men's fall season will conclude at the ITA Regionals, being held Oct. 8-12 at the Alabama Tennis Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Meanwhile, the women's tennis team will play in the same events, on the same dates as the men during the fall.
The one exception is the ITA Regionals for the women's program will be played Oct. 13-18 in Auburn, Ala., at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
