Alabama State's Rasunek Tyler-Thompson Set to Compete at USATF Outdoor Championships

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Alabama State University hurdler Rasunek Tyler-Thompson will represent the Hornets at the 2026 USATF Outdoor Track & Field Championships, taking place July 23-26 at Icahn Stadium in New York, N.Y.

Tyler-Thompson will compete in the 100-meter hurdles against many of the nation's top athletes, looking to continue her impressive outdoor campaign on one of track and field's biggest stages.

She is scheduled to compete in the first round (semifinal qualifying) on Friday, July 24, at 4:45 p.m. ET. If she advances, Tyler-Thompson will return to the track on Saturday, July 25, with the semifinal at 3:33 p.m. ET and the final at 5:52 p.m. ET.

Tyler-Thompson is coached by Justin Anderson, who has guided Alabama State's track and field program to continued success on the conference and national levels.
