NEW YORK—Alabama State University's track team completed their work at the New Balance Invitation today.  ASU only had a few women to finish their competition in today's final day.
 
Kesia Derilus finished 21^st in the 800m run college division, crossing the finish line in 2:16.47.  The 4x400m relay team was 17^th in the college division with a time of 3:53.25.
 
Shexnievia Bryant competed in the field events in the weight throw.  Her best throw of 17.04m placed her 22^nd out of 71 participants.
 
The track and field team will be back in action next weekend when they participate in the Tiger Paw Invitational hosted by Clemson University in Clemson, S.C.
