GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Alabama State University track and field program delivered an impressive showing at the Florida Relays, highlighted by a meet championship, school records, and multiple personal-best performances against elite national competition.
Leading the way was Daedrian Beville, who captured the triple jump title with a mark of 12.84 meters, earning Meet Champion honors. Beville's performance also etched her name into the program record books, matching the school record in the event.
Alabama State saw additional history made as Aliyah Williams set a new school record in the 1500 meters, clocking a time of 4:31.94, showcasing her continued progression as one of the team's top distance runners.
