After day two of the All-State Sugar Bowl the Alabama State Lady Hornets moves up to seventh place after traditional play.

Alabama State had a total pin fall of 8,968 moving the Lady Hornets' to seventh-place behind Stephen F. Austin (10,021), Sam Houston State (9,956), Vanderbilt (9,854), UAB (9,459), Bethune-Cookman (9,396), and Tulane (9,316). SHSU, the defending National Champions, went 9-0 over the first two days of the tournament, while SFA posted an 8-1 record.

Danielle Walker average of 193.2 placed her in 20th in the individual standings, while juniorÂ
Kaila Ryan rolled an average of 184.6 after three games. SFA freshman Stephanie Schwartz led all bowlers with a 241.6 average.

Saturday featured five team games with total pins that determine the order of finish and the seeding forSunday's tournament bracket.

Alabama State will be the 7th seed and face fifth-seeded Bethune-Cookman in the first-round of the tournament.

The tournament concludes Sunday with a 9 a.m. CT start. The final day will consist of  the best 4-of-7 Baker matches, will determine the champion. The 13 teams will be seeded based on the performanceon Friday and Saturday.Â
