"They definitely had their best regional so far and have plenty of room to grow," Head Coach Dr. Gary Grandison said.  "The scores should have been a lot lower, but they represented well."
 
ASU was led for the third consecutive day by Jenelle Kraakman who tied her career-low round with a 73.  She also broke her three-day low score with a 223.  Her previous best was a 228.  Kraakman also finished tied for 55^th among the individuals which is the best regional individual finish for any Lady Hornet golfer.
 
Sylvia Masango got better each day and finished today with a 76.  She also set a new three-day score with a 239.  Dismary Marquez's second 77 of the regional pushed her total to a 235 which was second on the team.
 
Brooklyn Kraakman shot a round of 80 today and finished with a 240 while Shannon Spinuzzi shot an 83 and finished with a 261.
 
"It's a testament to how the ladies represented Alabama State University," Grandison said.  "This was a team effort to finish with a 308.  It's a step in the right direction and they were actually in position to break 300 and when a team puts itself in position to break 300 it is definitely a step forward."
