"We were too comfortable and relaxed against Southern. They bowled much better than yesterday and it showed with the match going seven games," said Head Coach Andrew Chatmon. "Prairie View A&M is a great team, they really showed up to bowl. We had several games won, but in the last two to three frames they pulled it out by throwing straight strikes and we couldn't do anything about it. "

This would give the Tigers the match point eliminating the Lady Hornets.

"I am extremely proud of the girls today they fought hard when things began to look bad, but they still made plays when they needed to," stated Chatmon in closing. "It's hard going out like this with what we accomplished last year but now we can go back and see what we need to work on."
