GULF SHORES, Ala. | Afnan Chowdhury led Alabama State at the Gulf Shores Invitational, with the final round completed Monday afternoon.
The Hornets finished the day with a final round 305 to finish the tournament with 73-over 865. The team could not complete the second round due to illness, but finished the first round at 320, which at the time placed them fourth overall.
Chowdhury led the team individually, finishing tied for 13th overall at 17-over par, while
Thomas Caddell finished 15th overall at 18-over.
Thacher Neal finished just outside the top 20, finishing the tournament at 26-over par and in a tie for 22nd.
