MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Sophomore
Kei Harris won her second-consecutive tournament with a final round 71 (-1), taking home medalist honors by four strokes.
The Kingston, Jamaica native led the field with 34 total pars, six birdies and the lowest par-four scoring average (4.17). Harris paced the Lady Hornets to a second-place team finish, falling short to overall team champion Evansville by a slim two-stroke margin.
Ben Swaffield (T2),
Afnan Chowdhury (fourth),
Thacher Neal (seventh) and
Mbongeni Maphosa Jr. (tenth) gave the Hornets four golfers in the top ten, propelling
Dr. Gary Grandison's club to the championship. Swaffield's cumulative three-over par and Chowdhury's four-over par earned the pair a spot on the All-Tournament team.

Senior
Noel Sims fired his lowest 18-hole score in the 54-hole event on Tuesday, turning in a 75 (+3), which included an even-par score of 36 on the front nine. Sims' final round was instrumental in allowing the Hornets to comfortably win first-place by twelve strokes.
Jade Sanders used six total birdies throughout the duration of the tournament and was even-par on par-fives to earn a top-ten result (sixth).
Mack Bailey (T7) and
Abigail Pederson (ninth) also finished inside the top ten.
What's Next
Alabama State men's team will trek west for the JackRabbit Invitational in Las Vegas, (Nev.), March 7 – 9. The Lady Hornets will compete in the Bama Beach Bash in Gulf Shores, Ala. March 21 – 24.
