GULF SHORES, Ala. | Shania Jones carded a second round two-over par 74 to move up the individual leaderboard and help Alabama State remain seventh through two days of play at the Bama Beach Bash Saturday afternoon.
Jones was one of three rounds in the 70s for the Lady Hornets Saturday, as she moved up the leaderboard to 18th overall.
Jade Sanders fired a three-over 75 to move to 23rd in the tournament just three shots behind her teammate at 15-over 159.
Mack Bailey finished with a seven-over 79 to move to 30th overall, while
Abigail Pederson is tied for 31st overall after a second round 80 after her opening round.
Kei Harris is also in the top 50 of the tournament, as she is tied for 50th overall.
As a team, Alabama State sits seventh overall with a two round total of 64-over par 640; just six shots behind West Florida in sixth place.
Final round action takes place Sunday morning in Gulf Shores.
