GADSDEN, Ala. | Alabama State improved by 14 strokes in the second of the Chris Banister Classic with a second round 42-over (330).
The Lady Hornets sit in seventh place heading into the final round on Tuesday at RTJ-Silver Lakes, right behind Tennessee Tech (sixth) and North Alabama (fifth).
Katie Robinson (American Canyon, Calif.) is tied for 24th overall after her second consecutive 8-over (80), while
Teresa Diez Dorta (Santa Cruz De Tenerife, Spain) is tied for 29th overall after a second round 8-over (80), just three shots behind her teammate.
Meanwhile,
Iman Adams (Cape Town, South Africa) is tied for 33rd overall after a second round 9-over (81).
Final round play is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
