BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Kei Harris and
Jade Sanders each finished tied for 29th at the UAB Invitational despite rainy and wet course conditions in a tournament that ended early due to weather.
Teams were pulled off the course midway through their rounds on Monday due to weather, before weather forced the tournament to end after two rounds at the Greystone Golf and Country Club.
Harris and Sanders both scored identical 14-over par scores, with Harris firing a final round 76 after an opening round 82. Meanwhile, Sanders fired an opening round 78 and a second round 8- to finish inside the top 30.
Alma Garcia finished tied for 34th following a final round 79, while
Tia Kimbrough (tied for 59th) and
Faith Scott (61st) rounded out the field for Alabama State.
As a team, Alabama State finished the tournament 10th overall with a 71-over (647).
