GULF SHORES, Ala. | Alabama State fired an opening round 39-over par 327 at the Bama Beach Bash held at the Gulf Shores Country Club Friday.
They find themselves just three shots behind Eastern Michigan for 13th overall and are just six shots out of the top 10 and Appalachian State. Central Arkansas leads the tournament after an opening round 10-over 298, followed closely by ULM in second after a 12-over 300.
Kei Harris leads Alabama State individually after an opening round 77 has her tied for 24th overall. She is followed by
Jade Sanders with a 79 that has her tied for 42nd after the opening round.
