KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. | Jade Sanders and
Alma Garcia led Alabama State at the Kiawah Island Classic this week, each finishing inside the 70 individually in the largest collegiate golf tournament held each year.

Sanders finished the tournament tied for 51st with a 13-over (229) for the tournament. Following an opening round 75, she fired back-to-back rounds of 77 to finish. Meanwhile,
Alma Garcia finished tied for 68th overall after a final round 73 helped her to finish at 15-over (231). She was able recover from an opening round 82 with a second round 76.

McKenzie LeDuff (40-over),
Tia Kimbrough (46-over) and
Iman Adams (51-over) also competed over the three-day span for Alabama State who finished the weekend shooting a 114-over (978).
