TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Alabama State looks to end a three-game Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) losing streak on Saturday afternoon on the road at Florida A&M.
Alabama State (6-19, 5-8 SWAC) and Florida A&M (10-14, 8-5 SWAC) met earlier this season at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome, with the Rattlers able to pull out a one-point victory after a last second shot came up short for the Hornets. Â The last time the two played,
Trace Young (Owensboro, Ky.) led all scorers with 29 points on his way to earning conference honors.
The game is scheduled to tip at 4 pm (ET) on Saturday.
The Hornets currently find themselves tied for ninth place in the conference standings with Bethune-Cookman and are one game back of three teams – Jackson State, Alabama A&M, and Prairie View A&M – for the sixth spot in the standings with five games remaining in the regular season.
