STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. | Alabama State finished sixth at the National Women's Collegiate Championship hosted at the Eagles Landing Country Club after a final round 350. The team finished at 115-over par, 22 shots behind Prairie View A&M for a top five finish and 27 shots behind Chicago State in fourth.
North Carolina A&T claimed the tournament championship with a 49-over 625, followed by Delaware State at 53-over 639 and Texas Southern at 65-over 641.
Teresa Diez Dorte (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain) led all Alabama State golfers with an 18th place finish after a final round 81 to finish with a total of 166.
Tia Kimbrough (Bellville, Ill.) finished tied for 24th, while
Katie Robinson (American Canyon, Calif.) finished tied for 27th overall.
Hallie Bridgers (Baltimore, Md.) finished 34th overall and Iman
Adams (Cape Town, South Africa) 37th to round out the field.
