MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The Alabama State women's golf team opens the 2023 fall season on the road at 2023 Hornet Classic hosted by Delaware State on Monday.
 
The tournament will be hosted at the Kings Creek Country Club in Rehobeth (Del.). The club features an 18-hole, par-71 championship golf course with bent grass tees, fairways, and greens.
 
The tournament features 14 different schools including Alabama State over the two-day event. The Lady Hornets will be matched up with Monmouth and Wagner in the opening round, while the tournament will also feature the host Delaware State, Sacred Heart, Merrimack, Lehigh, Hofstra, Long Island, Howard, Mount St. Mary's, Bucknell, LeMoyne, and LaSalle.
 
The tournament is scheduled to tee off at 8:30 am (ET) Monday.
