BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Alabama State University women's golfer  Lucia Ibanez was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week on Wed., Feb. 28, 2024. 

Ibanez claimed sixth place to help the Alabama State University women's golf team to a third place finish at the HBCU National Championships on Monday. Ibanez finished with an 18-over, 234 one of three Lady Hornets to in the top 15.
