BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Alabama State University men's golf wrapped up play at the Lehigh Invitational with a seventh-place finish at the Saucon Valley Country Club (Grace Course) on Saturday. The Hornets posted rounds of 307 and 309 for a two-day total of 616 (+40) in the 12-team field.
Evansville captured the team title at 594 (+18), while Lafayette College and Fairleigh Dickinson tied for second at 597 (+21).
Leading the way for Alabama State was Wesley Bairros, who carded rounds of 75 (+3) and 76 (+4) to finish tied for 14th individually at 151 (+7). Quade Woods followed closely behind, tying for 17th at 152 (+8) with consistent rounds of 77 (+5) and 75 (+3).
Telmo Sueiro finished 37th overall with a 157 (+13) after rounds of 76 and 81, while Narabodin Swaengdee climbed the leaderboard on the final day with a 77 (+5) to tie for 44th at 160 (+16). Osiregbeme Egbakhumeh rounded out the Hornet lineup in a tie for 52nd at 164 (+20) following rounds of 79 and 85.
In individual play, Chotithuch Wangpaibulkit finished tied for 61st with a 169 (+25) after carding rounds of 83 and 86.
The event wrapped up the fall schedule for the Hornets.
