BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Alabama State University had six student-athletes earn SWAC Weekly Player of the Week across the sports of baseball, softball and tennis earn weekly honors.

Basball Hitter of the Week
Kyler McIntosh hit. .563 with three home runs, 11 RBI and three runs scored in four games last week.He slugged 1.125 and had a .558 on base percentage.
  
Baseball Newcomer of the Week
Espinal Wilbert batted .428 with two doubles, three RBI and five runs scored. Espinal also drew seven walks and had a .636 on base percentage.
 
Softball Hitter of the Week
Alana Scott slashed .583 and slugged 1.250, driving in seven runs with three doubles, a triple and one home run in four games. She belted a three-run home run to force extra innings against Southern Miss.
  
Softball Newcomer of the Week
Jaibriel Terrell hit .533 with a double, three runs score and one RBI to earn her second SWAC Newcomer of the Week.
 
Men's Tennis Co-Player of the Week
Matis Amier went 2-0 in doubles and 1-0 in singles. His singles win clinched a 4-3 win over Belmont earlier in the week.
  
Men's Tennis Newcomer of the Week
Gordon Fran Mileusni went 1-1 in singles and 2-0 in doubles. Both doubles wins helped the Hornets clinch the doubles in wins over Belmont and Alabama A&M. His singles win helped put the finishing touchdowns on a 4-1 win over Alabama A&M
