BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Gordon Fran Mileusni and Melisa Mekic were named the SWAC Men's and Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
 
Mileusni was not only the Player of the Week but also garnered Newcomer of the Week honors for the second straight week. Mileusni captured a 6-0, 6-1 win over Jerry Thomas of Alcorn State to clinch the win for the Hornets. 
 
Mekik clinched a 4-0 win over Alcorn State with a 6-1, 7-5 win over Natalija Nikolic and her win in doubles helped secure the doubles point,
