KATY, Texas | The Alabama State Women's golf team had two top 10 finishes to finish as the runner-up finishes at the WGIF HBCU National Championship this week.

Alabama State finished with a 907 team-aggregate scored behind team champion Howard University (878).

Lucia Parada and Thayika Kittiyanaruewat placed third and fourth to lead the Alabama State individually. Parada finished with a plus-seven, 200, including a second round 69. Kittiyanaruewat shot a plus-nine, 222 with a opening round one-under, 70.

Syed Iman Ali Shah and Carmen Fletch tied for 18^th with a  236 and Kierra Williams and Yaiza Fernandez tied for 25^th with a 238.
