@BamaStateVB head coach spending time teaching in Australia

MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State head volleyball coach Penny Lucas-White spends time each summer teaching the game to young players around the country, however, this summer she is doing so abroad.

White is spending a week in Australia as part of the High-Performance Development Camp staff that includes Desiree Collins (head coach, San Diego State), Teee Williams (professional men's coach, Germany) and Pauline Manser (head coach beach volleyball, New Mexico). The staff spent two days teaching in Melbourne and will spend July 11 and 12 in Brisbane. They will conclude their camps July 15 and 16 in Sydney at the Sydney Olympic Park.

The camps are part of Aussie Volleyball in the USA whose core business is volleyball – predominantly all things Australian volleyball and how it works with and in the United States. The company hosts teams from the United States and visits the country, while working with coaches to bring them to Australia so that athletes can gain invaluable experience.
