BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Alabama State's Gonzalo Moreno and Florida A&M's Ayush Bodhale for SWAC Men's Golf Weekly Honors for their performances during this past week of competition.
 
Moreno shot an even-par, 216 to finish tied for seventh at the Southern Invitational in Palm Beach, Fla. He shot an ASU tournament low two-under, 70 in the first round before shooting 73-73 to close the 54-hole event while helping Alabama State claim eighth place.

Bodhale finished tied for 16th at the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate with an even score of 213 (0) after playing 54 holes. On the final day, he had an amazing day with a score of 66 (-5), which was the second best round for the entire tournament.

Alabama State University returns to the links on April 17-19 at the 2023 SWAC Men's Golf Championships in Flowood, Miss.
