BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) announced Wednesday that Alabama State University senior defensive specialist Brooke Adams has been named the SWAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week.
The Cypress, Texas native, collected 37 digs over the past week, including a match-high 25 in the Hornets win at Bethune-Cookman. She also chipped in with eight assists.
Adams now has 203 digs on the season which is ninth in the SWAC, as is her 2.71 digs per set numbers. She is also one of the top servers in the SWAC with 26 aces and a 0.35 ace per set average.
