MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Alabama State assistant women's volleyball coach Madison Beasley has been named one of the 2025 recipients of the AVCA T.E.A.M. (Togetherness, Empowerment, Accessibility, Mentorship) Award, recognizing coaches who embody the core values of leadership, community, and mentorship within the sport of volleyball.
Beasley, a former standout setter for the Lady Hornets, has quickly made her mark on the coaching staff, continuing to elevate the program's standard of excellence both on and off the court.
During her playing career, Beasley ranked among Alabama State's all-time leaders in assists and service aces. She earned SWAC Setter of the Year honors and helped guide the Lady Hornets to multiple conference tournament appearances. Her transition from student-athlete to coach has been seamless, driven by her passion for teaching, mentorship, and team culture.
