NORMAL, Ala. – The Alabama State women's soccer team dropped a hard fought 4-0 decision at Alabama A&M Thursday afternoon.
With the loss, ASU slips to 0-10 on the year while A&M picks up its first win of the season improving to 1-11. Due to a rash of injuries, the Hornets have played at less than full strength all season long.
The Bulldogs got goals from four different players including Joslyn Jackson, who paced the squad with four shot attempts.
Monique Sylvester registered ASU's lone shot of the game.
Alabama State returns to action next weekend with a pair of road games at Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Friday) and Grambling (Sunday).
