The Alabama State University soccer team will travel to Jackson, Miss. to face the Jackson State Tigers Friday, October 19 at 4 p.m.
"We're looking forward to a challenging weekend,” head coach
Jodie Smith said. “We haven't been on the road in a while and that will present a challenge for us. Jackson State is the defending division champions, so we are expecting a very tough game that will have a huge impact on the seeding going into the conference tournament."
The Lady Hornets (5-6-2) saw action against Grambling on Sunday and defeated the Tigers 4-0 in a much needed momentum building victory before returning to conference play. ASU is coming off an eight-game home-stand, where they won half of its contests, and tied two. It's by far the best start in the history of the program.
