MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) released the 2021 women's soccer schedule for the spring Friday morning. The schedule features nine conference matches with an open weekend for each team, with the postseason tournament set for April 8-11.

Alabama State will open a week later than most schools as they have the opening weekend off. The Lady Hornets will hit the pitch against UAPB at home on Friday, March 5; before facing Grambling State on Sunday, March 7 to close out their opening weekend of play.

The team will then hit the road to face Southern (March 12) and Jackson State (March 14), before returning home for a pair of matches. The Lady Hornets will face Mississippi Valley State (March 19) and Alcorn State (March 21) at the ASU Soccer Complex, before closing out the road portion of their schedule against Prairie View A&M (March 26) and Texas Southern (March 28).

Alabama State closes out the regular season against Alabama A&M, April 2.

The winner of the conference tournament receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, with the NCAA Selection Show set for April 18.
